30 Day Snap #26 #27 and #28 - Ursuline National Conference 2013

Hello there blog readers.

As you may know from one of my previous blogs, I go to an Ursuline school. There are many Ursuline school's not only in the Uk but also around the world too. This past week I was involved in the Ursuline National Conference in Aylesford. This conference involves a handful of students from all the different Ursuline's around the Uk to meet up for a retreat for 3 days to learn more about our foundress St Angela and to generally have fun.  

I went with 2 other girls from my year who I will also be going to New Orleans in August. I was lucky enough to go on this conference in year 8 which I thoroughly enjoyed however I think I've valued the experience more this year as I'm older and I was also a student leader.

The first day was a lot of fun bonding with our groups who we had to name and give a slogan:

We also played rounders and I hit a rounder!! And we also had a very comical talk from one of the teachers. 

Unfortunately we couldn't stay overnight unlike everyone else as we had to go home for a meeting.

Day 2 was just as fun as day 1. We arrived late as half way though our journey to get to Aylesford our teacher remembered that she left one of the people she had to bring so we had to turn around and get her! Day 2 saw us modelling with clay and trying to attempt to draw - my skills are not that great. We also hosted a talent show where I was chosen to be the presenter and a secret judge. Then that night myself and the 2 other girls slept over at Aylesford which was a lot of fun although we didn't get to sleep till gone 12.

Day 3 was the last day which was quite sad as we all bonded quite a lot during the last few days. We had our last meal together - Fish and Chips which was very yummy and then we had a mass which was nice although I had hiccups the whole way through!

Does that appear to be the sun shinning in Britain? My Golly I think it is. YAAAAAAAAAY! Unfortunately for myself it decided to appear when I was at school.... So instead I made the most of the glorious weather by relaxing in the back garden after school.

30 Day Snap #24 - Aylesford Retreat Planning

Today I spent the day planning a huge retreat for students around the Uk who attend Ursuline School's. This is a bi annual conference and since I'm in Sixth Form I have been asked to help plan and lead the event. 

I have visited Aylesford Priory every year since year 7. And it's beautiful, it's one of my favourite places to be (weather permitting). I met some lovely girls who I will be spending the week with and I can't wait to share with you guys how the week planned out.

A bit of a late one tonight. 

So yesterday I went to work as usual and then after I came home and didn't do much as I wasn't feeling very well. I had hoped to go out but the weather was quite rubbish. So as you can see I didn't blog. However I did manage to be some what productive by creating my ticket/postcard board, so i'll show you that when its up on my wall!

Today I went out with the family for a while and we headed down to the local arcades.

And £1 later this little fella flew through the air landing straight into the box to pick up!!

I'm not usually this lucky to win things but 3rd time this month!! Must be something in the air.

30 Day Snap #20 & #21 - Della and Maria's birthday Pt.1 and Pt.2

I wanted to smush these last two blogs together as they are all about two very special people.

Della (DellaLovesNutella) and Maria (FlutterOfLashes) turned the grand old age of 17 today.

Yesterday we all went out to Pizza Hut to celebrate with loads of their friends. 

Yumm!

And then today a few of us went out for a picnic to celebrate more!

30 Day Snap #17 & #18 - Lazy days and days out with friends

I'm not very good at this it seems!

So Yesterday I went to my friends house as we were supposed to be painting. But because we left it a bit late we ended up just sitting down and watching Wall-e playing on the wii - to which I lost every single game -_- and then watching Finding Nemo! 

I've never seen Wall-e before but I am a big kid when it comes to animated films and I really enjoyed it!!

Then today I went out with my friend Sam and Millie to shop for our friend Alexz who's mum asked us to help buy him some decent clothes!! It was a lot of fun as you can probably imagine and before heading home we went to get lunch in none other than The Harvester.

30 Day Snap #16 - 1st Summery Day In June Mini Photoshoot.

Hello there blog readers!

I think it's a bit ridiculous how here in Britain we are now well into Summer and the weather does not seem to agree with this minor fact. Anyway today was the first day that we actually had some nice weather and what better way to spend it than out in the garden with the best friend!

After work today I headed out with my best friend Chloe and then we ended back at hers. We played Scattergories with her younger sister - which was hilarious seeing as though none of us could agree on each others answers so it was an experience to say the least! 

After this the sun decided to make an appearance so we all went outside and played a very funny version of "one knee two knee" and then after this we did a mini photo shoot.

30 Day snap #15 - BBQ

Ooohhh its a late one!! Today I went to a bbq with the family. This bbq is held every year by a family friend to celebrate her son's birthday and I cant remember not ever going!!

This is Charlotte. 

I met Charlotte a few months after she was born. And every year at the annual bbq I remember pushing her around in her buggy to get her to go to sleep or chasing her around making her tired to hopefully fall asleep! We don't see each other very often but when we do she always runs up to me shouting my name and gives me a big hug and today she followed me every where and even nicked me coat claiming it for herself (even though it was about 10 sizes too big and ended up looking like a dress on her!)

30 Day Snap #13 & #14 - "Sleep" Over & New Purse

Hello there blog readers,

Again apologies for the lack of blogs and then having to double up.

So Thursday night I was invited to a sleep over with all the girls that do A Level dance. It was a nice way to catch up as we are use to all seeing each other every single day at school and since we've been on our little break we are lucky if we get to see each other once a week. 

The night ended up to be quite a lot of fun and its nice that we can have a sleep over like this and no one feels out of place as we're all so close, however we did not get to sleep till about 3.30 in the morning!! Now I'm not very big on staying up super late (or until early hours into the morning) because I get quite grumpy from lack of sleep. The latest I've ever been up till has been 4 in the morning for a wedding which is kinda different I guess, so I don't really have that much experience of doing "all nighters". So as you can guess for me going to bed as late as we did wasn't the greatest of ideas we came up with, but it was fun so I thought I'd share with you a couple of photo's from last night:

Today I didnt do very much as you can imagine due to lack of sleep! But I want to share with you the new purse I bought from our local market. I recently bought a purse from Primark but it was quite big and although it fitted in my tiny handbag it didn't really leave room for much else. And as well as this money kept falling out of it quite a lot which was quite frustrating so after many weeks of umming and rrrrrrrrinnngg whether I should get a new purse I came across this little thing and instantly fell in love:

It's a dupe of the Anna Smith Owl Purses. 

It has a wallet type structure at the front where you can place all your cards and then at the back it has a purse. I really like this purse and it's a lot better than the one I had previously so I really hope this does not break any time soon as I will get a very good use out of it.

30 Day Snap #11 & #12 Coursework joys.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I went swimming with my friends and bought my camera along but forgot to take any picture *face palm*. 
Today I havent done much, I was called into school to meet with the new teacher that will be taking us over in September as our current dance teacher is going on maternity leave. So I spent about 30 minutes to get into school for a 25 minute talk.... Great... It wasn't too bad though as she was telling us about a new project that will be starting up down our area that I will be able to take part in. 

As well as that i've done quite a bit of coursework for the deadline on Friday! eeeeekkk

30 Day Snap #10 - Spring Clean!

So today I wanted to do something productive and over these last few weeks due to revision, work and just pure laziness I let my bedroom get in a pretty bad state - something I dont usually do. So I thought that I would tidy it up a bit... 3 hours later I ended up rearranging my WHOLE ENTIRE room. Yup. And there's still a couple more things to do like putting up my photo frames on a new wall and things like that.

Like the new look? It took forever! 

I'm going to share with you what I bought when I went shopping yesterday.

Select Dungaree shorts. I've always been into dungaree's for some reason and I saw these the other day in Select and I thought they'd be nice to wear in the summer and especially when I go away -  Dungaree's always remind me of pregnant ladies painting for some reason?! I'm weird I know.

30 Day Snap #7 - Meal with all the dance girls

A post after 10.30 WHAT?! Sorry!!! As you're about to find out, I was out at a meal today and didn't get in till late and then I bought my camera along to the meal but I left my SD card in my laptop because I'm just that clever! *facepalm*

So today I went out for a meal with all the girls that do A Level dance with me and 2 of the lads from our year. We decided to go to Harvester as a few of the girls had never been there before and it was the cheapest offer and everyone could get what they liked. 

I had a really nice time and I had Sticky Toffee pudding for the first time ever in my life!

30 Day Snap #5 Shopping, Tom Daley and sharing a coke with... Me!!

Hey there blog readers!

2 blogs in a day! So if any of you saw my Make-up and Fashion Haul you'd know that today i've been shopping! Yes I thought after the stress of exams I'd let treat myself with a bit of retail therapy and also start to stock up on clothes for New Orleans this year!! 

And with everything I bought I'm still very excited about finding a Coke bottle with my name on!! Little things please me.

Then the rest of the day I spent with my best friend Chloe and when she went home I started reading Tom Daley's autobiography that she leant me.

Make-up and Fashion Haul!!

Today I went shopping with my best friend Chloe at our local shopping centre, and I stocked up on some makeup and bought a few pieces ready for New Orleans this summer!

Starting off with Makeup:

The Mua Undress Pallet.

My best friend Chloe came over one day and had the most amazing smoky eye shadow and told me that she got it from this pallet from Mua so I bought this today. 

The Mua Extreme Felt Eyeliner

I love to use felt eye liner this one is a lot thinner than the Collection eye liner I currently have so I'm going to give this a go.

Wellaflex Silikrin Volume Boost Hairspray

Admittedly this isn't makeupy! However! I've had this a few days now and its a really good hairspray, it smells really nice (bit of a weird thing to say I know) and its not too stick and is really easy to brush out.

Fashion:

New Look Denim Playsuit

This is the main thing that I bought today. Its a cute denim playsuit from New Look and cost £19.99. I really like to wear play suits during the summer so I'm glad I got this to add to my collection!

New Look Super Skinny Jeans

Now I bought a couple of weeks ago. Reduced from £23 to £13 and I do love a good bargain. They are super comfy. I don't usually shop in New Look but recently I have really liked their summer collection.

30 Day Snap #4 - Sleepover timeee!

Hello again blog readers, 

Hope you are all having a good day =D. 

Today the students from New Orleans came down to my school for a visit before they head back home on Friday. Because they came down especially from London to see us all I was invited to go to school - during my 3 week holiday to visit them -yay, but I did have a good day with the girls so it was a trip into school worth while.

As well as that today my best friend Chloe is round for a sleep over, so I wanted to share with you a picture of our evening so far!!

I bought Chloe Tom Daley's autobiography for Christmas and she didn't want to lend it to me!! It's ok though I got it eventually!!

We're now off to catch up on the new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and eat the rest of my Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream!!

30 Day Snap #3 - After exam treats!

Hello blog readers,

Today I officially completed my AS year in sixth form with my last exam finishing this morning *phew* and to celebrate I was able to stock up on some treats - with the help of dad of course!!

Today we were meant to have family down. But sadly my uncles dog - who is an amazing 12 years old collapsed this morning and had to be rushed to the vets in Norfolk - They were staying in London at the time so they couldn't come and visit us which is a shame. 

So instead I celebrated finishing my exams in true style by playing Mario Kart on my Nintendo DS and stuffing my face!! What an exciting life I lead?!

30 Day Snap #2 - Grab Machine Goodies!

Hello there again my lovely blog readers!

So I'm a day behind on this 30 Day Snap and today I know will just consist of Work and Revision again so I want to share with you something exciting that happened yesterday. 

I live near the sea and on the whole road down there is full of arcades. After work yesterday I met with my mum dad and brother where we went to have some dinner and we then went to the arcades before heading home. 

AND WE WON THESE!

Dad won these on the grab machines for me - just 20p in each machine and we won them!! We've only ever won 1 other toy from the grab machines which I still have, but I thought it was quite cool how we were able to win 2 toys one after the other!

May Favourites

Hello my lovely blog readers,

As promised in my 30 Day Snap #1 I am going to be doing my May favourites.

This month I have been loving quite a lot but i've managed to narrow them down to show you guys just a few.

Starting off with beauty products:

The most used colours!

The Mua Undress Me Too Pallet. I got this for my birthday from my best friend Della and her sister Maria and I haven't stopped using it since. I'm not very brave when it comes to colour on the eye so I always stick to neutrals, and this pallet suits me down to the ground.

Collection Extreme 24 hour Felt Tip Liner. This another present I received for my birthday, I like to use this on top of the Mua Undress Me Too Pallet with a thin line.

Bio Oil. This is great for stretch marks and scars. I have many scars from when I was younger recently I've also had to deal with stretch marks on my waist, but using this has helped massively to reduce them in appearance.

Andrew Barton Hair Waver. This is new and I love it. I have short hair and I'm always looking for new things to do with it and this is perfect. I love the waves its creates with my hair and I also pair this up with a couple of curls from my Tongs to create a cute style - this is an idea I found on Youtube from Pearlsandcurls96. 

Fashion:

I bought these a couple of weeks ago. They are really comfy and I wear these nearly everyday and I do think these were well worth the £9.99 I paid for them in New Look.

Favourite Outfit:

I always like to make new outfits from things I don't really wear that just lay in the back of my wardrobe. The dress is new from New Look and was £19.99 and the lace tee behind it was from Primark which I bought ages ago!! You can also see her the effect the Andrew Barton Hair Weaver has on my hair.
